#95. snowflake berries and basketball

Photos taken on December 4th

I had to post all 3 of these photos that I took on this day.. even though they're not related..

Okay, so how many photos can I post of these berry trees, right? WELL.. let me just point out that perfect & amazing snowflake in between the two berries on the bottom left.  I was just trying to take photo of the berries..and that perfect little snowflake wiggled his way in. And I didn't even notice it until hourss after I took the photo.. Can you say SERENDIPITY?

I took the above photo on my way to what would be a LONG day in the library. And because I worked so hard.. I rewarded myself by going to the SU v NC State game. We got there kind of late.. so we had to sit in the nosebleed of the student section..

And after the game (which we BARELY won. Step it up guys).. Sarah and Em did a little posing.

#94. JASMIJN (is now an official artist on my itunes)

(Photos taken on December 3)

My friend Jasmijn is an AMAZING singer, worship leader, song writer and person. In this photo she's being 3 of those 4 things... (I'll give you a hint.. she's not leading worship in this photo)
This was her second time performing in the SU Singer-Songwriter Showcase,  and she was AMAZING!
Also... shouts to our talented friend Vanessa playing the piano on Jasmijn's left..

#93. drawing on the windows

Picture taken on December 2.
I wrote "one day at time" on the dew of my window.
This was the morning after I stayed up until 5:00am to finish my first 10 page paper. (At this point I had a 6 page paper, 10 page paper, AND 15 page paper still left.. not to mention a few presentations and exams). You could see my need for the saying on the window, huh?

tomorrow, TOMORROW

Guess what I'm doing..
I am studying for my LAST final of the semester.
You know what that means..
It means that tomorrow = the day when I am free of the past two weeks that has quite honestly been the most HORRIFIC finals weeks that I've encountered in my history as a college student.
Do you know the other reason why tomorrow is significant?
BECAUSE, IT'S THE DAY I CONTINUE MY 365 PROJECT.

(if you don't know what saturday night live skit I'm referring to..click the link).

PS- By tomorrow, I mean Friday, December 17.. so if you're reading this Friday.. the post is coming SOON!

taking a little break

Short Version: I'm taking a break from this blog for my sanity

Long Version:
Here’s the reality of it ladies and gentleman:  I have a 6 page paper & presentation due Tuesday, a 15 page paper and presentation on Wednesday, a presentation on Thursday, another presentation  the following Monday, a 10 page paper due Tuesday, a huge group project due Wednesday, an exam on Thursday and another exam on Friday.

I remember making a promise to myself that I would never take a break from this photo blog .. but then again I never could have fathomed that homework would begin to EAT me alive the way it has been.
So there it is, for the simple fact that there are only 24 hours in a day, and for the next two weeks the majority of those hours will be consumed by work, I am taking a break from this blog.
I will still definitely take photos everyday.. I just don’t have the time right now to choose/edit and post them every single day (which believe it or not takes a long time).

That’s all. I hope anyone that reads my blog everyday can forgive me for this little break I’m taking. I also ask for forgiveness from my friends for the cookiness /blunt-nesss/ insanity that is going to be my personality over the next few weeks from my lack of sleep.

PS- Pray for me please. Because my situation seems utterly impossible right now… and I know that the ONLY way I’m getting through these next two weeks is with God & the strength he gives me to accomplish everything.
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”- Philippians 4:13

#92. welcome back snow

Welcome Back Snow. I know you're here to stay until probably April.. so I guess I should just get used to you.

Remember that pine needle I took a picture of on Monday? Well this is the pine needle (not kidding).. now covered with snow.

Bring out the long coats.

#91. orange peel FUN.

Before walking to the dome for the SU Basketball game tonight,  I grabbed an orange. Well, when I was done peeling the orange, I had the bright idea to not throw away the peel, and instead bring it to the game and wave it around as I cheer GO ORANGE. (Get it? "Go ORANGE")
So we get to the dome, I wave my orange peel around & cheer, Amanda and I discuss how we are all going to start bring orange peels to every single game, and then all of a sudden my orange peel became our photo prop!

Ladies & Gentleman, meet our orange mustaches:

(And a beard..)

Sarah get's credit for these two photos..
 Cheering with the peel...

And we won.
I'm convinced that it was partial to my orange peel cheering skills.
SU Basketball: 7-0.

PS- If you're on the fence about getting season tickets... look how much FUN we have at the games. Don't miss out, join us!
