I'll be honest.. since I love photography so much, the way I display my photos in my room is pretty important to me. Here's how I currently have them..and I'm already brainstorming how I want to hang all my photos in my future apartment after graduation!

Cool Things I've Come Across Lately

- I like free stuff, scratch that.. I LOVE free stuff. So I'm going to share this amazing knowledge with you..

Amazon has this thing where if you sign up for a trial (totally legit)  you can get TWO free audio books.  I'm so freakin' excited. Check it out. (And don't forget to cancel the trial, cause they'll charge you after a month.)

- Poladroid Project- I was recently lucky enough to find my family's old polaroid camera. Then I looked into prices for polaroid film.. It's $130 for 30 photos! Can you believe that. So I quickly put that camera back in my mom's room..and have instead decided to start using the Poladroid Project.. yeah its not a real polaroid, but it looks ALOT like it, and it wont put you $130 in debt.

- Easy way to make a simple and GREAT looking website. I'm taking a Web Design class right now, and I'm pretty excited to learn the ins and outs of HTML... because I think its something I'm going to be using alot in the future. BUT this platform is for those people who have not one clue about HTML. And I'm pretty sure its free.. Check it out.

#146. beyond disappointing loss

Syracuse lost to Seton Hall 90-68 today.  And it was truly embarrassing. How about we start actually playing and winning games again, guys? We actually didn't stay for the second half.. we went to a senior bible study (which was amazing) that overlapped with the game instead. Thank God we did because apparently the 2nd half is when things were truly disappointing.

Excitement from the game.. they gave us free pom-poms.. and Steph modeled them for me.

Random Thoughts:
- Florence & The Machine is simply amazing.
-"It is a safe thing to trust Him to fulfill the desire which He creates"- Amy Carmichael....
A-frieakin-men....But I'll let you in on a little secret of my life. It is so amazingly hard to trust God in this period of praying/applying/waiting to find out what my life will look like come May 16th (the day after graduation).  Obviously I'm going to try, but  how awesome would it be if God slipped a note in every senior's mailbox that explained what exactly they should do post graduation?

Sorry for the delays in posts the past few days.. between camping out in the dome and not getting enough sleep I just couldn't get them up before midnight each day.
I've reached the point where I'm kind of over this 365 day thing, I'm probably not going to quit.. I'm just throwing that out there.

There was also card playing, alot of laughter, junk food, a failed dance party, and 3 hours of sleep.
Would I do it again? HECK YES! We had a ton of fun.

#140. crafting

One of my New Years Resolutions (which I have yet to post.. opps) was to craft more! Believe it or not, I had to do this for my EEE homework..

Mmm. Look at the bokeh at the bottom of this picture. 

You know what sucks.. this is the only New Years resolution I've completed so far. I guess I have a whole year for improvement right?

Manana, tengo mi primero espanol clase en dos anos. Si, yo viviera en Ecuador y Peru por dos meses el veranos pasados, y mi espanol ha mejorado mucho.. pero no he hablado desde que estaba in Ecuador. Soy un poco nervioso. Quiero asistir este clase porque es posible que voy a vivir en una pais de Sudamerica cuando me gradúo.

..Just wanted to see if I could do that.
 I haven't taken  a formal spanish class in over two years, I'm taking an one hour oral class this semester and tomorrow is my first day. I consider myself highly conversational in spanish, but I'm crazy nervous because I haven't spoken spanish since I lived in Ecuador over this past summer. I'm forcing myself to take this class because there is a high possibility that I will be living another part of life in a spanish speaking country.
That's pretty much the gist of what I said in my little Spanish paragraph up there.... probably not grammatically correct though.

#138. a cold day in skaneateles

Adrienne, Sarah and I went to Skaneateles for a few hours today. It was FREEZING.. but it was fun to walk around for a bit.

Tomorrow is my last first day of classes EVER!
(Unless I go to grad school.. in which case I wouldn't go until later in life and God would also have to send a burning bush to convince me)
How do I feel about this last first day? Bittersweet.
I think the bitter/sweet dichotomy is going to flip flop throughout the semester... At this point in my life I can not imagine not being within walking distance from my best friends. And it makes me tear up to think come may this will be a reality (thats the bitter part). But also.. the idea of not writing anymore papers nor having a horrifying finals week ever again, makes my heart want to leap out of my chest and prance around my room with joy. (thats the sweet part)

#134. bowling

-First day of RA midyear training today.
-We went bowling..and I actually had fun. Which is saying alot..because it is a rare occurence for me to enjoy myself while bowling.
-I am the world's worst bowler.  I walk up to the lane.. attempt to let the ball go, it gets stuck on my finger and instead flys off my hand into the OTHER lane. It was hilarious. And drew took a picture.. http://yfrog.com/gyfirstj
- Feels good, bad and weird to be back in Syracuse. Good.. I'm excited to see all my friends again. Weird.. its my last semester in college. Yeah, lets not talk about that one yet.

Random sidenote for photog people out there..
- Just spent an hour trying to figure out how to use photoshop actions. The result is above. Yeah its simple, and just gives you a template for placing photos side by side... but this is my first time using any type of action ever, so I'm proud of myself. (I just used a free one from MCP actions.)

Since I know she follows my blog, I think I'll write something special to her... Our conversation blessed me beyond belief today!
