As a way of saying thank you for the CRU guys cooking dinner for the us ladies on Valentines day, we had a pancake brunch for them.
There was balloon blowing..

#165. CRU Valentines Day
Syracuse CRU has a tradition for Valentines Day where the boys host a dinner for the girls. Today was that day..and it was absolutely amazing. So much fun! Nice job guys :)
(I decided to be lazy and not bring my SLR camera. Let me tell you, I regretted it... Maybe its because I've become spoiled with the quality my SLR will produce.. but I'm just not as happy with the photos I took. Oh well, moments are moments right?)
Dinner was great, the V-day music was great, and the decorations were great.. but probably the best part of the night was a speed dating game the guys came up with. (What the above picture is from). The girls were given a question to ask on our "speed date" with one of the guys. And we had to attempt to get the answer to the question but without directly asking the question. And we had to do that all in 2 minutes. So much fun.

#75. women's retreat (last morning)
The women's retreat planning committee (myself and 5 other amazing ladies) realized that it's probably a common struggle to truly believe in who God says we are, and that instead we intend to believe negative lie about ourself. So we brainstormed an activity that would allow the girls to walk away with a visual reminder of their true identity.
We asked everyone to think of a word /phrase to finish one of these sentences: "As a follower of Christ I am" or "In God's eyes, I am" Then we had everyone either write that phrase on a card or on their face with eyeliner. and we did photo shoot displaying our true identities.
Jo was the photographer for all the girls, so when it was her turn to be on the other side of the camera, I gladly photographed her.
"In God's eyes, Jo is whole"
(Photos taken Sunday (Nov 14) morning at 4am.. yeah, we stayed up pretty late)

#74. women's retreat (saturday)
Modge Podge of how Day 2 went.
To be honest, I'm too tired to tell a cohesive story through pictures, so enjoy these random ones:
Our theme for the weekend was "Identity" and man-oh-man, did the Lord have ALOT to teach/re-teach me about that subject. Honestly, this retreat came at the absolute perfect time. Because without it.. all the things I've been personally struggling with/all the things God had to show me about who he really is and who I really am.. would have just been pushed aside for later (as it often is). Yeah, I can't even begin to go into how grateful I am for this past weekend.
After our second meeting and personal devotion time we went into the town of Skaneateles, had a picnic lunch and explored a bit!
Pre-story to the following pictures..Sarah and I are eating out rock ledge thing. Someone asks to take our picture and I suddenly feel my hat slipping and then hear a splash. I immediately start screaming/laughing. Screaming because this is an awesome hat, I got it in Ecuador, and I thought it was gone forever. Laughing because everyone else in the above picture was cracking up at my screams and it was just a ridiculous situation over all. Sarah, (bless her heart) took charge and retrieved my hat for me.
Walking around town we found 2 cent candy.
Yup, I told you I'd be random. I'm hopefully putting all of the pictures on Facebook within this week.. (the key word here being hopefully).. so you can get the complete picture there.

#24. fall retreat (day one)
As promised.. here are the photos I took everyday while I had no access to internet..
CRU Fall Retreat was this weekend. This is my fourth year at fall retreat, and while I've had fun every year... this year was by far the BEST retreat yet!It was the absolute perfect weekend to get away from campus, laugh until I cried, and hear all that God had to teach me.
Although I took a whopping 740 photos over the course of the weekend.. I only took a few on Friday night. Here's my favorite..

#15. tabling
I helped table on the quad today.
I pull out my camera to take the picture above, and DC says.. "Can I be your 18th picture?" I say, "Yes." And Drew poses..
PS- Drew.. you asked to be the 18th. I'm actually at 15, but I'll still post you today!
